I don't know if you recognize this, but sometimes when I see certain objects or design items I can be so attracted by those that I would like to have them in my own hands at the same time to admire it myself. I also had this with the beautiful collection of 1616/arita japan. I saw the TY plates a while ago on instragram and at that moment my search started because I didnt’ know where to get the items in Europe.

Teruhiro Yanagihara studied design at Osaka University of Art and established his studio in Osaka in 2002 with the vision of exploring the boundaries between tradition and renewal, linking modern technology and the demands of industrial production with a robust Japanese sense of aesthetics and spirituality.
